'Remember you must die'. I find the idea of Memento Mori strangely comforting. One thing I don't like is the thought of leaving my daughter. I enjoy solitude and thought it might be selfish, but now I think it might help people cope when I'm not around anymore. Whatever way round you look at it, we all lose the people we love and we all die. Putting it into the context of our solar system dying and our earth being burnt to a crisp by our dying sun, puts a better perspective on the matter.
